Yesterday I woke up at 8:22 to a text from Meg. I definitely slept through my three alarms (I blame the wine from the night before) and was late (thanks for being so patient girl!!).
I had 20 minutes to get to Penn station.
I grabbed my stuff and made it to the station in the nick of time. All the while running (literally) like a lightning bolt!
We met on the first car, hugged, and laughed since we barely made it. And then I realized I didn’t have a swimsuit and that I’d forgotten my contacts!
But that didn’t damper our day at all. Once off the train, we stopped in a store, I grabbed my size and we were off to enjoy the sun and waves.
It was a wonderful day. Lots of laughing and this dear girl crafts the best sentences.
