Last night was the world premiere of Josh’s film, Don’t Stop Believin’: Everyman’s Journey!

It was just awesome.

My heart felt like a little jumping bean, I was just so excited and proud.

Folks, this is an amazing movie. You will laugh, you will be inspired, you’ll tap and bop your head to the music, and you will want to reach through the screen and give Arnel a huge squishy hug. He is just that lovable, not to mention his voice literally blows you away.

I think my favorite part of the film was listening to him describe his feelings about his very first time performing as part of Journey. His story is moving and it just makes you feel good. My second favorite part is watching the ridiculously talented musicians write a song.

I have SO MUCH respect for filmmakers and their passion to keep moving forward, through, and around until they get to their finished film. Yah! You all rock!

That makes you laugh.

Dancing snitches + broomsticks + fearless people not afraid to get hurt (they are running with broomsticks!) + very busy paramedics + butter beer (actually, they were out but the idea is lovely) + friends = a super awesome time at the Quidditch World Cup 2011! The walk from Randall’s Island back to Manhattan was also an adventure.

August is in full bloom and summer is ending. I’ve been enjoying these fence flowers for the past few months. Standing on my tip toes to smell them, hoping I don’t run into a bumble bee!

Let’s hope Irene doesn’t blow away them away.

Saturday I participated in Improv Everywhere’s Mp3 Experiment. Past experiments looked so awesome, that I when I found out about this one, there was no way I was missing it!

I didn’t get too many photos of the actual event, but took some blurry pics after. Hooray for light up dance parties!

Cloudless skies and ocean air = simply divine.

And going with new gal pals is even better, this one’s especially hilarious.

Thanks to Meg’s book club, I now have three awesome gal pals. Amal, Joy, and Meg. 

But don’t worry dear yammies…you are certainly not replaced! (Yams = you. are. (and always will be) my. sisters!)
