These pieces are inspired by nature, starry nights, large mountains, immersive waterfalls, and the creatures that live there and the way that expansive places have a way of making one feel small, which can bring one to the present moment and overwhelming gratitude. They are part of a larger body of work, “what blooms in moonlight”, which is about remembering our larger belonging to one another.
It is my hope that one feels drawn to the landscapes and could imagine walking through these colorful lands. I wanted to create something that would feel transportive.
