During the pandemic the Troy Farmer’s Market had to find a new winter location and was temporarily placed inside the former Price Chopper. More than two dozen artists help bring life to this space by filling it with murals. Creating this mural was an exercise in impermanence because while no one knew how long the market would be in this space, everyone knew it would be temporary and the state of the building at large remains unknown. While the market has since returned to it’s location in downtown Troy, this was one of my favorite projects I’ve ever painted.
